A Full Moon

I have completed the moon! It took me a few hours to finish the second half of it, which I did last night. Now I need to work on the rest of the stars and then it's on to the words.

Moonlit Garden - 6 June 2009

Thank you so much for all the comments from my last post. Lovely to hear from some 'newbies'. You're so welcome to drop by any time. It's amazing also, how just by seeing someone else's progress or finish on a design, can inspire many to want to create it themselves. I love that about stitching blogs. You can really get the essence of what a pattern is about, instead of just seeing the end result in the 'printed' form. Just changing thread or fabric colours from the original design can give something a whole new look too.

Here's to inspiration!

The moon looks perfectly well! As well as all design. I agree that many designs on a booklet cover look unattractive. At me often happened so. I see a photo on a cover - the design is not pleasant. Then I will see in someone's blog ready work or process. Sometimes it is not believed at all that it is same!
I wish the prompt end!

Won't be long now, that full moon is so making this project more complete. I too love coming and looking at your pictures. And you are right, seeing someone share something, makes us that much more prone to want to stitch the same thing. Kind of makes it all come alive!;)

Yesterday I had a quick visit with my local stitchy friend. She had finished stitching this piece a few weeks ago and I know that the colours are even brighter than you see on the screen. I can see that this would be a great 'autumn-y' stitch. And the colour of the moon is very pretty.

Just beautiful Jane! I might have to try and snag this one on ebay! I've enjoyed the BBD I'm working on too. Yours makes me long for Autumn!

Wow, looking at your WIP at this point makes me almost smell the smells of fall (the burning leaves) and the crisp air! Beautiful!

Just lovely! I adore the autumn designs, but have yet to stitch one. It's my favourite time of year.
