The Best Til Last

This is going to be my favourite Bug, I can tell. I'm onto the last one and I'm loving her outfit already. Some beads will go along the bottom of her dress which will create a little more interest and make it look lacy. I'm only getting about one stitching session in a week lately so this project is taking shape at a slow pace. Anyway, here's were I'm at...

Baby Bug Ball - 15 November 2009

I can be a bit spasmodic with my stitching at times. There's occasions where I get a lot done in a short space of time, then other times I seem to go at a snails pace. Needless to say, I'm a snail at the moment. :)

That looks fabulous. You do such beautiful stitching. That's one of those projects you will be sorry to see come to a close... like a good book you wish would never end.

Well, snail or not, you do wonderful stitching. Do I sense perhaps you don't want this wonderful piece to end? :-)

Hi Jane! I have to apologize for not commenting sooner. I tried several times, but I was on vacation, and I could never get the laptop to cooperate. I could read your wonderful posts, but every time I tried to comment, it wouldn't let me!
I just finished putting the buttons on tonight. My blackbird button was missing it's button holes. I tried to make some holes with a needle, but it didn't work, (Should have listened to my husband) and I ended up breaking the little guy. I will have to get another one next time I'm at Shepherd's Bush. I was there yesterday, but didn't know about the button problem before going, wouldn't you know it.
Anyhoo, I'm so grateful for your encouragement. This was so much fun to work on with you.
I loved the third bug the best as well. The colors were so fun. You are so close you'll be done in no time. I don't think you are a snail at all. The only reason I finished early is because the weather in Florida was a tad on the chilly sied, and I had a lot of movie and stitching time to finish this project!
Take Care! I'll be posting photo's very soon.
