Another thing different I've discovered later on is the line called Diagonal Waves under the words Autumn's Blessings. The instructions have mentioned to start three threads in from the left side. This I have done. You end up having a space either side of that row. It looks quite alright and I think I'd be happy just to leave it. The thing is though, in looking at the SB site of their version, the line runs the whole length of that row. I could pull it out and start at the edge instead of coming in, then I would have room for another diagonal set of lines at the end and it would take up all the row. I'd like to know what you all think. I'm really quite happy to leave it as is but it's annoying when you see the original design and it looks slightly different. Sometimes I wonder whether the instructions have been altered from the original design somewhere along the line. Your thoughts would be appreciated.
So, after all that I'm still happy with how it's turning out. I did some on it a couple of nights ago but didn't get very far (only two rows), so I decided not to show a progress picture. Although I have put one in my WIP album. I always update it whenever there's new stitching I've done, even if I don't post in my blog.
Enough chatting. I'm a good 3/4 the way through with it now. Another couple of sittings will do it I think. Here's some photos of where I'm up to...

Jane, your Autumn Blessings looks absoulutely beautiful exactly the way it is. I so enjoy your gorgeous photos of your stitching. You always make me want to run and start a new and wonderful SB project! Thanks for the inspiration.
Wooohoooo! Almost there! It looks fabulous!
Jane, I think your version looks better and each end of that row ends in an 'up' stitch, whereas SB's version, one end is 'up' and the other 'down' so my guess is that they altered the pattern after it had been stitched. By the way, I couldn't get to your album from the link in your sidebar, but maybe it is just my computer.
Jane, I gotta tell you that I think your AB is absolutely gorgeous as it is. I wouldn't change a thing. That being said I DO know what it's like when you catch something in your needlework and it really starts to bug you. I literally go work somewhere else on the project for a while and then come back to that area. If it's still bugging me, I frog it. Otherwise, nope! No disrespect to the designer but sometimes, if I'm realllly lucky, my 'faux pas' is even better. I like to call them 'revised design elements'. ;)
I wouldn't change it either, Jane. I think it looks great and I like how the end stitches match. Sometimes on SB things, I find the true center and start from there and work out so that my end stitches are identical so I definitely vote for leaving it.
The question is interesting...
To my taste the original version is better. I like the different ends of row.
I think you should leave it as is. I looks wonderful as it is. I've run into the same problem you have with their kits on occasion and look at it as no one is really going to notice whether it's exactly as the picture or not.
I think it looks great, Jane. If you're not happy with the row, take it out. Or, go to another part of the design and think about it for a while, as someone else suggested.
Beeutiful Jane! Your picures are fabulous!
Thanks all for your thoughts on my options with the row under 'Autumn Blessings'. I've decided I can live with it and will leave it as is. I've also been stitching like mad today/tonight and have finished it! Look out for pictures in my next post. Yay! Another happy dance!!! :)
BTW - Sandra, I've fixed the link to my photo albums. Sorry about that. :) Thanks for letting me know about it.
Beautiful progress Jane - I can't wait to see your finish! :)
It's looking gorgeous Jane, great progress
I wouldn't have changed it either, it's fine like that - beautiful!
Il love so much your version! It's wonderfull!!!...really!!!
Kisses, dear Jane...
Jane, mine is exactly like yours, I also followed the chart instructions--I like that both ends are pointing up, even if the row doesn't go to both ends. I did opt to change the lettering because I prefer more standard looking rather than their wonky lettering. But, its all to one's taste and style. Your's looks fabulous and you did quite well with the Swedish weaving.

Looks great! You'll have it done in no time.
It is so darling! I love this piece, and your stitching is beautiful.
