All good things come to those who wait. I could go on with the expressions but it still doesn't change the fact that I haven't finished Ah, 'Tis Spring yet. Another stitching session late yesterday afternoon/evening was all I achieved this past week. I've stitched the bunny's other arm with flower in hand and am getting a little further along with her dress.
Ah, 'Tis Spring - 18 April 2010
This picture was taken with my scanner as the light is poor when I'm getting home these days.
Daylight savings is over, the days a little shorter, and soon the cooler weather will be upon us in Australia (some parts anyway). This past weekend though, the weather was glorious! Over the two day break, I must have spent a whole day out in the garden. I was planting and pruning, out in the beautiful warmth of the sun. I wish we got more of this type of weather. Not too hot, not too cold, but just right (I should call it Goldilocks Weather). I love getting out in the garden when it's like this.
Last week I was too tired after work to feel like doing any stitching. I'm really wanting to get my bunny finished though. Maybe I should stay off the computer all week and see if I can get more done. Don't know whether I could stick to that plan really, I like the net too much. I'll see what I can do.
Thanks for your comments, as always. They are a pleasure to read and put a smile on my face. It's nice to have like minded friends interested in my stitching. Hope you have a wonderful week ahead.

I can imagine the length and monotony of this dress...but do not give up and cut continues to embroider that is always like therapy! :)
Now you do not have so much to stitch anymore - you will see, finish is near!
This wonderful picture is worth every singel stitch, I like it more, the more I see!
Hugs from (springlike) Austria

You got quite a bit, hold on! very well-matched colors!
I just started stitching this design. I look at your work and inspiring!
can't wait to see the finish...looks like your almost there.
Since I see this only when you post it on your blog I can see your progress, I think, more than you see it. You're doing such a beautiful job!
Hi Jane, I like the term 'Goldilocks Weather'. I am sure I will be adopting that term. It's just perfect! ;-)
I know sometimes you can't get to stitch as much as you'd like but you are still putting in a few stitches and progress is being made. Meanwhile I'm sure you've accomplished a lot in your garden and you got to be out in Goldilocks weather!
Have a good week my friend! (I'm still home sick today!)
Your little bunny is looking lovely. I broke down on Thursday and started her. I needed something easy to work on while DD did her math outside. (Weather has finally been nice!)
Turns out my fabric is 28 count, not 32 like I thought. It's easy to see, and I can do the "sewing method" with this fabric, so with needle on top of my fabric, am cruising right along. I can't seem to stop working on her! I love this piece! It's addicting. I can't remember the last time I dreamed about doing crosses in my sleep! LOL
I'm close to catching up to you, and I'll post pictures really soon. I've had some troubles with the greens as I didn't get the CC changes, but I think I have them worked out okay now. I hope to get done and made into a pillow, so I can enjoy for a little while before getting Summer stuff out.
Hugs. More later. Your doing great!
She's coming along and then end must be near on the dress!
We have been in the gardens a lot in the last week or so too - it's the Goldilocks weather! Great for gardens, but not so great for stitching!
Looks like your nearly there, can;t wait to see the finish.
I LOVE what you are stitching and it is going on my wish list NOW if not sooner. I'm one of the weird ones in that I love stitching with one color thread so the dress will be lovely for me to stitch. Can't wait to see more.
Lots of Love
