Better Not Pout

Here's another oldie but very fitting for this time of year. It's Shepherd's Bush 'Better Not Pout'. I stitched this September of 1996. I remember being sick at the time and off work for a few days. I mustn't have been too ill because I was still able to work this up in four days. It comes as a kit with everything you need to complete it. Lots of different stitches in this one too. Hope you enjoy my pitcures of it.

Beekeeper's Cottage

This is another one I did some time ago. It's Shepherd's Bush 'Beekeeper's Cottage' which comes as a kit (including all threads, fabric, charms, and chart). It was so enjoyable to do. The mat I got here in Australia at a Stitches 'n Craft Show a number of years ago. The framing was done the same time as Little Witch, in 2007.

Little Witch Pictures

As I promised Tammy, here's some photos of my SB Little Witch. I've put more in an album for anyone who'd like to have a look. Thanks!

I stitched this piece in 2005 and didn't get it framed until 2007! The mat is by Jill Rensel which I purchased on sale from The Silver Needle over the net. This was so fun to stitch.

Here's another must have from LHN

Just been doing some browsing on the net and came across this new pattern by LHN called Something Old, Something New. It could be done as one piece or stitched as individual designs. What value is that? Gotta love it if you're a fan of theirs. It's going into my wish list for a future purchase.

LHN - Something Old, Something New

Thanks to everyone for all your comments on my last post. I'm glad you enjoyed looking at my finishes. They're not all new ones though. Some of them have been stitched recently and others during the last four years. It's nice to bring them out and remember the happiness I had stitching them.

How to finish?

These are pictures of all the finishes I have stored away in a box (mostly Shepherd's Bush), waiting for me to work out how to complete them. They could be framed, hung on a wire hanger, made into a fob, an ornament, or perhaps a dozen more ways could be thought of. With my time limited by working full time I just try to stick to stitching up the pieces first and then store them while I work out what to do with them at a later time. I'm getting plenty of ideas looking at other people's blogs, which is terrific, but really haven't had the confidence or the time to be creative with them. One day they'll be put to life where I can enjoy looking at them everyday.

Shepherd's Bush lovers

Just been checking out a few blogs this evening and came across this update by Jurga. For those of you who like Mary's Stocking by Shepherd's Bush, this will interest you. She has done such a beautiful version of it. Simply took my breath away when I saw it. Enjoy!
