So here's all the bits and pieces I bought yesterday at Candleberry Country. I can never go into this shop and come out with nothing. My will power seems to wait outside while I go and drool over everything inside. Then I end up picking up this and picking up that and forgetting how much all of it is going to cost. I always feel so joyful when visiting here though and it's a place I never tire of.
I have put more photos in my Candleberry Country album if you'd like to take a look.
I never know when I will use the items I pick up over time. They're not usually for a particular thing, but I like to get them when I see them as they'll be gone in a short time. Nothing is available for a long time here - especially fabrics. Some of these I will use in time for my smaller cross stitching pieces to finish them off.
Hope you've enjoyed my shopping experience. I certainly did!

Yummy Needle Worx threads Jane and I see a few familiar fabrics there. I also have that dear little bag of pearl buttons too. We clearly have similar taste :) I saw those wooden clothes pegs put to a novelty use recently somewhere ~ they were used to wrap lace around and then put on display in a pretty glass jar. I have been thinking of doing that myself. Nicer than having it hidden away in a drawer.

As it is a pity that in Germany there are no such shops! And how long to wait for a parcel from America! I can buy in general nothing, but consider, take in hands... And I too almost always buy that simply is pleasant, not for concrete products. And then long I consider contents of the baskets and boxes. Sometime it is useful!

wow Jane, big and lucky shoping:)
I like the fabrics, treads and the special christmas sock...
I would love to have almost everything from what you have bought:) I love these craft shops where you can find lots of wonderful things and spend hours inside.
Btw, I love listening to the music at your page:)
Oh how pretty! What a great place to be able to get fabric--they will make gorgeous additions to your finishing for sure. I can't wait to see what you create with those.
I love everything!!! The fabrics are so beautiful, I have never seen these little fabric squares before, they're perfect for pinkeeps or pincushions, aren't they?
Jane, I've been visiting your blog for a couple of months now (don't have my own yet!) and I'm also from Melbourne. I'd been wanting to go to Yarragon for a couple of months now, but this post convinced me to make the trip today. Spent ages in Candleberry Country and have added some lovely bits to my stash. Craftpaks in Heathmont also have a good range of threads. There's also a new needlework/patchwork store in Daylesford that has cross stitch kits too. Another place to lose yourself for an hour or so ;)
