New Silkweaver Fabrics

I ordered a few pieces of Silkweaver fabrics recently, and they arrived during the week. They were from their Solos releases which they do every week. They're one-of-a-kind fabrics, so are not mass produced. If you want a fabric with that unique look then they're a great idea. Solos don't come with a colour name either, only their count and size.

Silkweaver Fabrics - 40ct Newcastle (golden), 28ct Cashel (light pink), and 40ct Newcastle (deep mocha).

I love to have odd bits of fabric on hand to be put to good use in the future. The best part is not knowing what design you'll use them for, then discovering the perfect pattern for it.

I still haven't decided what to stitch next either. I've not had the chance to look through my stash properly, so I may do that over the weekend sometime.

I would also like to thank those of you who take the time to comment on my needlework. It really means the world to me and I get so much enjoyment from reading them. I know there are a few of you who are new to my blog, and I will try to drop by your blogs in the near future. When I started this blog, I really didn't expect to have so many people 'dropping by'. Don't get me wrong, I am happy you do, and you're most welcome. Please know that I appreciate your company and thank you so very much for you thoughtfulness.

Happy stitching everyone, and happy weekend!

I love the new linen! You know that's my weakness! I too like to have lots of linen around for whenever I feel like starting new. Can't wait to see what you start next!! :)

I always love visiting your blog, Jane - the look of the blog is so relaxing; your photography is delightful, and you live in the part of the world where I grew up. What's not to love?

I love your new stash - those colors are all beautiful!

Pretty fabbys! Jane, I know what you mean. It's daunting and overwhelming to keep up with blogging. It's a double edged sword for sure, lol. I got caught up and am trying to just make comments as I see them pop up. I'm sure I'll fall behind again though! You have so many followers because your needlework is awesome and your blog rocks! :p

I get those announcements from Silkweavers but never order any of the fabric. I think I should now. Those fabrics you bought are great and your work is always so inspiring.
