Caps Of Wool

I got a bit further on my progress with Wooly Winter yesterday. Better than the previous night's session. Hearts, specialty stitches, and little caps of wool were completed. I love the woollen hats, and they were a lot easier to do than the mittens. :)

Wooly Winter - 15 August 2009

Now I can work on the snowman and all his trimmings. Think I'll do some more today as the weather is ideal for it. We had such strong winds last night (I kept waking up because of them), and today they're still around though not so strong, but there's also quite a bit of rain falling. Well, I guess it still is Winter here, so I can't complain too much. The plus side to it is that this type of weather does allow me to stitch more. So I'm going to spend a lovely Sunday afternoon stitching and keeping warm inside.

Til next time... happy stitching!

You do beautiful photos of your work! I am in AWE!

Wooly Winter is adorable. I do believe I have that somewhere in my stash.

Enjoy your day of stitching.

It is summer here and we are expecting two tropical storms this week --- I'll be inside stitching too!

This is such a darling piece! You do beautiful work :)

Seems strange that you have winter in the "summer"...LOL It was 85* here today and just gorgeous. Needless to say, I didn't get any stitching done today because I was outside most of the day. I'm trying to soak it up for this winter...LOL

Stay warm tomorrow and have fun stitching.

It's 90+ here in Virginia. So it's nice to visit your blog, I can practically feel the cold breeze.

Can't wait to see the snowman.
