Another Shepherd's Bush

Here's my next project. It's a SB kit called Snow Patch which was released in 1997. The fabric is Summer Khaki and threads are mostly Au Ver a Soie Silk.

Shepherd's Bush - Snow Patch

With it still being Winter here in Australia, I thought I'd work another in this theme. Though this one has brighter and happier colours, so I'm hoping it will pull me out of the 'winter blues'. I'm really over this cold weather and am envious of you all in the northern hemisphere going through Summer. :)

One thing I came across with my kit, is that there's no Thread Gatherer silk included. There's supposed to be one called Southwest Sands, so I'm going to contact SB and let them know. They should be able to send me some in the mail. They're usually good like this if anything is missing in their kits.

Well, back to work tomorrow. Another full weekend which went far too quick!

Jane, I just love your photos. They look very professional - I envy you. And you have such a creative way of showing your stitching! Mine always looks very blurry and unclear - guess it could also be my camera :)
Good luck with the new project.

This looks very pretty. I am looking forward to your new start!

I understand about the winter blues. Our past winter was exceptionally long and it was awful. I hope you get some sunshine through your stitching! Have a good week.

July here in North Ga. is pretty cool actually this weekend. We had a cold front with a low of 60 last night and high of 80.
Your stitching is so pretty and the pictures are great. I need to get me a new camera.
SB colors very lovely!

I love all your Shepherd's Bush stitching. The colors are so pretty. The one time I was missing something from a SB kit they put it right out in the mail. I really appreciate it about them.
I live in Alaska and it is cool and rainy here and winter here seems to last forever. I understand how you feel. Hope your stitching helps.

Thanks ladies! This is a gorgeous design and I'm looking forward to working through it. I have made a start on it and will take some pictures tomorrow for you to see.

Alison - thanks for letting me know about SB email. I've ordered direct from them in the past and do have their addy. You're such a gem though for mentioning. :)
