Millennium Child ~ framed

I've had another two finishes at the framers recently and picked them up yesterday. This is one of them called Millennium Child from Shepherd's Bush. It's a shop exclusive kit which includes the mats and everything else to finish it. I decided on an elaborate looking frame for this one. It's a simple design and I thought I'd jazz it up a bit through the framing. Got to celebrate the turn of the century in style!

SHEPHERD'S BUSH - Millennium Child framed 17 April 2009

I stitched this one in 2006 and not in the year 2000 unfortunately. This tiny matter doesn't bother me. It still marks the occasion no matter when it was created. Again, I'm very happy with the frame.

I haven't started a new project yet. Still not decided which I'll do. Thought I'd just have a bit of a break. My stitching can be a bit erratic. I'll stitch like a mad woman sometimes, then I'll ease back a bit at other times.

Thanks for stopping by!

It's beautiful Jane, both the stitching and the framing!

I think I'll have to see if I can find this one - I have a Millennium child of my own - my DS was born in May '00. :)

Lovely Jane!

You HAVE been stitching like a mad woman so a break is probably what you need to fill that creative well again. I'm sure we'll see your lovely stitching again soon!

MC looks beautiful! I think they had another shop exclusive--looks like a trick or treater, similar to yours. I would love to get that one. I'm totally in a slump too and am giving away Fright, lol. I could not get into it for some reason!
