Was that Kermit?

If it wasn't, it must have been that darn stitching frog! I would have got more done with this but I had to pull some out. They were mistakes that couldn't be hidden unfortunately. The last row I've done, which is called Hungarian Ground (done in Moss and Creme), I'd started it off in the wrong position and had to start that about three times! Then there was what they call Spratshead Baskets. They're quite interesting, and I'll be filling them with beads and other stitches in the end, but they were sooooooo finicky to do. Much pulling out was done with those. :) Anyway, I've got past that and I hope that was the worst of it. The rest of the decorative stitching left to come looks fairly simple so I'm hoping it's smooth sailing from here on.

I was able to stitch yesterday afternoon and into the evening on it.

The Potting Shed - 12 March 2009

If you wanted to see how wild I went with my last stash buy and couldn't find it in your hunt, then I will give you some links. I got this, that and the other. All LHN and CCN designs. Which reminds me, I must do some more of their patterns soon. They are so fun!

Beautiful progress Jane! You'll be done in no time! Even though I have stitched this sampler, I had forgotten how pretty each band is! :)

All those different stitches are just lovely - I can see how it would be great fun, aside from the frogs. And wow at your stash! And I thought I was bad...

All these different stitches are quite tricky, aren't they? I hit some bumps as well, but once get pass them, the result is often very rewarding~~ I think yours is just lovely!!!!!

I've had to start, pull out, start again, pull out and start again on some SB pieces also but the end result is so worth it! Love The Potting Shed.

I am totally in love with this piece!!! (I'll thank you to keep the frogs in your neighborhood, thank you very much!) The last ornament I did needed some major frogging and I sent the frogs over the ocean. I ended up starting over as it was such a small piece.

The colors on this piece are lovely. The various stitches ass such a pretty touch!! Keep up the good work. I might have to think about doing this piece.
